We are a family of fishermen for four generations, owners of the largest Italian tuna fleet in the Mediterranean. This heritage allows us to monitor the tuna from the moment it's caught and to hold the highest quota of Mediterranean tuna allocated by law.
Our in-depth knowledge of tuna begins at sea and continues on land, where every step is carefully monitored: from selecting the finest cuts to artisanal processing in our Salerno facility. The yellowfin tuna is a large ocean fish, recognizable by its long, bright yellow fins, from which it gets its name.
Among the tuna species, it is the most common and well-known in the kitchen, featuring pink flesh and a nutritional profile rich in proteins and minerals such as iron.
After we select it and cook it in water and salt, we process it by hand in our Salerno factory, applying our meticulous artisanal care, before preserving it in olive oil.
